So I haven't written in months... Been a little busy. Ok, been a lot busy. I'm working at Laika, the only place I wanted to work the whole time I was in school. It's incredible. I'm working on a movie they're making called Coraline. You can read about it on IMDB, look it up if you have time. I can't really talk about what I'm doing there because I'm sworn to secrecy but it's a lot of fun. It's due for release late next year. I'll be in the credits!

In other news... In about 2 weeks I'll be giving people even more reason to doubt my age. I already get a lot of people giving me "yeah right" faces when I tell them I'm 28... Soon they'll accuse me of being 16 instead of 19.

I'm getting braces.

I made the appointment today for the first step in the land of metal mouth. I go in next Wed. to have pics taken and more xrays and a bite mold. Then the following week you'll all be able to call me "brace face". I'm not doing it to make my teeth look better. I actually think my front teeth look ok. It's the back molars that are messing me up. I've been having jaw problems for a very long time and we're hoping that by correcting my bite it will ease some of the pain I'm having. I'm only getting the top teeth done at first, he wants to do it all in stages because of my jaw. Apparently it takes a couple hours to put in a full set of braces, so he wants to do the top, then take a break for about a month, then do the bottom. So it looks like I'll have the whole set up by Halloween.

Should be an adventure. I've heard braces suck. I plan on blogging about it, I may post progress pics or something, updates...
